Oh no.... here is a second BIG mistake

imageTextPettitte auction

I know there is another thread of this same problem on the community board but here is another card with the same mistake. I purchased this card from Ebay with the intention of getting the "REAL" thing. No where does it say the auction was for a reprint card. I did see the scans in the auction but I quickly discarded looking at them as none had the white border of a 1993 Bowman so I assumed he didn't have a scan of the 1993 card. I've contacted the seller for a refund so that is not the concearn now. This card clearly states on the back that this is a Bowman Chrome reprint. Upon further looking this is a 1998 Bowman card. Quality control needs to step it up.
I am not bashing PSA as I'm currently doing several graded sets but these obvious reprints should not be slipping out like this.
This is my first time posting links and pictures so hopefully it all worksimage
Looking for Gerard Warren, Dallas Cowboy GUAutos, 1968 Baseball PSA 8 or higher

This is a reprint of a 1998 card?

Have they run out of ideas already?
  • If the seller won't do anything, contact PSA at 1-800-325-1121, and ask them what to do about it. If you don't have success, ask again here and we can try something else.

They aren't open until Monday morning.

Using your best Rod Serling voice:

"Meet James Skidman, a baseball card collector in constant search for the rare and valuable card. His journeys have taken him to distant lands and procured him the rarest of the rare. But today James will journey to a place where no card collector has ever been, a place where the reprints come out before the originals. A place known quietly in hobby circles as... The Twilight Zone."
