What's the last card you paid Over book price for?

After reading lots of posts on here, it seems like many people think it's a sin to pay even half the book price on cards. My question is what was the last card you paid Over Book Value price for? I've done it many times but it's usually on cards with players jersey numbers in the serial number. Just curious to see what others have bought...

If I recall, I paid 4x book value on a RC card of Vince Carter that had his jersey # in it. Some people may think that's crazy but hey I made a very nice profit on it. Premieum swatches (multi-color) are always going near book or over.

I spent $1.50 which included shipping for a common 1995 Finest card. It was the
last card I needed for the set. I'm sure not going to find it local to me. So
first time I found it, I snatched it up.

We paid almost double BV for 3 cards we needed for our 01-02 Heiritage Hockey set;but it was worth it.They were the last cards we needed for the complete set.Funny thing is they were regular cards;we got all the RCs in the set either by trade or below BV on eBay.
Now we can sit back & watch the value of this set go up,up,up!It has what very well could be some of hockeys'next superstars of the future;Datsyuk,Kovalchuk,Cole,Blackburn,Jillson,Nederost........just to
name a few!Wow,we love this hobby;it is so much fun!!!
