You've been a Mechanic for 15 years?
Well.....
Pontiac didnt make a "Big Block" Fyi..... The 326,350,400, 428,455......
and you wouldnt have to change motor mounts to go to a 350, its the exact same block......With different stroke...
tranny hook ups?? The mounts are the same unless you went from a t400 to a t350.......
And calling a 460 a bad engine also shows what you know about " Mechanicing"
Stick to wrasslin like I said

Like I said, there is no "Big Block" Pontiac......
"Capacity : 455ci + 30 thou "
Lmao, uhh, What are you talking about Capacity?
"Heads : Pontiac 455 " this means nothing..... The same heads came on 350's, 400's, 428's, 455's, etc..
What were they?
cc's?
Front Brakes : Trans Am, Disc + caliper ????? Uhh, what disc brakes Dont have Calipers???
<< <i>ok beef...here ya go if ya dont beleive me then man....damn...oh ..and yeah...HAD to switch to a t350 because the mounts on the 400 ARE NOT the samn........
anything else i can help ya with ? >>
If youll read the post above yours, youll see this is exactly what I said.......
If you went from a 400 engine with a t400 tranny, to a 350 engine and a 350 tranny, you wouldnt need new moter mounts, theyre the same block.....
You could have used the t400 tranny if you wanted, so you didnt "need" to swith the tranny crossmember.......
You must be a mechanic at a go kart track or something....
Whut?
vittleboy, go edit ur title to something else so dabeef can't search for this everytime he comes on cu. lol.
Im just trying to explain Pontiac's to Mr Mechanic
If you dont want to read this post, dont.....
easy enough.......
