Nice car there dude...I remember my Grandpa having a 1965 Impala that was SWEET! When I was a kid I always asked him if I could have that some day...all it needed was to be fixed up and it would have been a awesome car to roll out in. But, unfortunately, money plagued his soul so he sold it to some dude up the road from where they live...image I was not a happy camper!

I mean, c'mon...how sweet would it look to be riding in a '65 impala with ya girl??? I mean...it's already great and everything...but d@mn! imageimage

I wouldn't mind having a '69 Mustang myself! Gotta love the muscle cars! image

    Hehe, Derrick camping....

That is a sweet ride though, my aunt has a '66, she bought it cheap and beat up, but I haven't seen it since she and my uncle fixed it up, it's s'posed to be niiiiice.
  • dam man you make me wanna go back get get my 77duce/25 electric..can you say 350 dual exhaust?
  • Are you going to install the hydrolic suspension in that sucker to make it bounce. I love the Impala's, I had a 66 silver convertable....sweet ride.

My all time favourite car has to be the 1969 Camero....absolutly love that car and will own another one again.

  • That's a nice car, I have to go with the AC Cobra. I'd like to get an original but that would cost quite a bit.

nice ride. Drop that b*tch and make some sparks fly.

  • My first ride was a 67 chevelle SS, had a 325 hp 396 with a turbo 400 50,000 original miles, gas was .35 gal. and min. wage was $1 hr. But it was one sweet ride and ran like a raped ape.

lol...oh and carder...been a mechanic fer a lil while ...prolly like 15 yrs or so.....so i know a lil bout this that and the other .....

and beef....nice cars ya restored...damn near as nice as that 79 trans am i had....it had a big block 400...i couldnt stand it...so i rebuilt a 350 and changed motor mounts and tranny hook ups...it ran alot better...although i never did change out tha 2.41 gears it had in it...it wasnt that much thru tha 1/4 ....but on tha top side...it was all hell man image
    image

Tha Finger ... Tha Stunner ... Tha Legend.
  • I wasn't going to change anything on the car. It's the original motor on it. The car is all stock with maching numbers. Only thing I change to fancy it up in the summer is the rims. The car was appraised at $35,000....original Z28's in stock usually end up in Reggie Jacksons collection.

When I get the big cash I'm going for a 69 Yenko, my dream car.

    You've been a Mechanic for 15 years?

    Well.....

Pontiac didnt make a "Big Block" Fyi..... The 326,350,400, 428,455......
and you wouldnt have to change motor mounts to go to a 350, its the exact same block......With different stroke...
tranny hook ups?? The mounts are the same unless you went from a t400 to a t350.......

And calling a 460 a bad engine also shows what you know about " Mechanicing" image

Stick to wrasslin like I said image

Like I said, there is no "Big Block" Pontiac......

    "Capacity : 455ci + 30 thou "
Lmao, uhh, What are you talking about Capacity?

"Heads : Pontiac 455 " this means nothing..... The same heads came on 350's, 400's, 428's, 455's, etc..

    What were they?
    cc's?

Front Brakes : Trans Am, Disc + caliper ????? Uhh, what disc brakes Dont have Calipers???

If youll read the post above yours, youll see this is exactly what I said.......

If you went from a 400 engine with a t400 tranny, to a 350 engine and a 350 tranny, you wouldnt need new moter mounts, theyre the same block.....

You could have used the t400 tranny if you wanted, so you didnt "need" to swith the tranny crossmember.......

You must be a mechanic at a go kart track or something.... image
