1931-S Lincoln, Rust in Peace!!!!!

Ohhhh the humanity of it all, some one needs to bury this coin.

Rustoleum Lincoln

If it weren't for the date I would have said that this coin was recovered from the Titanic!!!!!!! This isn't a situation where you can guess what's been done to a coin, but rather what hasn't been done to this coinimageimageimage

Hi grade? I will venture to say EF45, and ugly too. Whoever owned that coin for those many years obviously did not know how to handle them. It may not have been handle for many years, but the years before that were not kind.

THIS COIN IS FROM A HUGE ESTATE THAT WENT UNTOUCHED FOR MANY YEARS!!

    what!!!!!!! until NOW?
Ya, we see the evidence of it being `touched`if not in recent years.

With the medical gausse as a backdrop,it makes the coin look like it has blood red toneing.
Maybe it is blood on the thing.image

That is a rare coin in that condition, usually you only see it in ms grades. LOL!!

Looks like a vf at best with a net f for some sort of corrosion or something...I have never seen anything like that.

I know EXACTLY what's been done to that coin: it was dipped into Jeweluster. Idiot. Yet he claims "high grade" in the ad and sells that piece of crap raw. I may have been born at night, but it wasn't last night.

Why did he clean that coin? It looks like it might have even been collectible before the abuse. Too bad.

    it was dipped into Jeweluster.
