Not knowing anything about the coins with that bald hippy, don't know if it's a good deal or not. Sure a nice looking coin, though. I'm tempted to BIN it myself.
One thing I don't understand is how much is shipping?
One place it say's-All bidders must include a $5.00 flat shipping fee. Another it say's-ALL ORDERS UNDER $100 PAY $3 FOR SHIPPING & ALL ORDERS OVER $100 PAY $5.
Oh well I just bid the start price. Maybe I will get it for less than the bin
They operate as seperate divisions - one that charges $3 under $100 and the other that charges a flat $5, so sometimes they get a little confused when placing listings. If you win the coin, just tell them about the $3 charge listed at the bottom details and they'll give you that.
Is that snot from a sneeze on the holder or the coin? I can not understand what the * is for, looks mediocre to me, maybe it is the scan, but it looks like it is getting the measels.

Hey Dan, welcome to coin collecting and to the boards! (BTW, I made it to 5 million RC5 blocks this week )
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
Is that coin one that should really get a "Star" and UCAM. It looks a little needy to me, but, my experience has been NGCs UCAM and PCGS DCAM are not always equivalent. Anyway, I though the frost on the reverse had a little to much variation for UCAM, but the star; isn't that almost indicative of one of the best in that grade?

You'd have loved the other one he linked. Nice coin that deserved the star.
BTW, Placid, not really going to snipe it.

You would have had to pay more than the bin was anyway.
Since I won't bid again here is a link. The bin was $34.00

Some newb tried that with me on this one. I came back and sniped his butt. Still got it for $4 less then the BIN was.

It's distributed coin-collecting!
edit:
Oh - and I'm *hardly* any competition... I have only 33% of my registry set acquired.
