Topps Gallery Baseball Press Plates

I was lucky enough to pull one of the press plates. Odds are 1:1211 I think. I pulled
Jason Kendall. So are all the press plates available or just a few? Anyone know?
The plate is the front of the card, and is color is Magneta. It's not for trade, since this
would be the first 1/1 I have ever got. Or I'm guessing it would be a 1/1. Hope
everyone has a good day.

There was a total of 4 sets produced...Beckett online says that and not much more:

But wouldn't each plate be a different color for the card? Or are there 8 Magneta plates
for just one card?

There are 4 different colors and a back and frount to each

vittleboy is partially correct. Gallery only inserts front plates so it's a 1/4 as far as a Gallery Kendall plate goes. But it is a 1/1 for that color. Gallery usually inserts a total of 200 press plates into each year. They do not release every plate for every player. Nice pull!
