Card Savers

A short while back, someone posted a site where you could purchase Card Saver 1's at a real good price, I can no longer remember where I saw that. If someone knows , I would appreciate it if you could post a link to that supplier. Thanks

CardboardGold sells Cardsaver1's for $90/2000. Postage is additional. They also have an extensive line of storage products. I usually buy a case or 2 at a time, put aside and forget about it.

    You are correct

The catch is you have to buy 2000, which most people don't need and by the time you get through with shipping, they end up costing about $6 per 100. My postage is close to $4 (they are heavy little suckers, so I'm making about a buck (less my time, box, tape etc.) Yep, I've really found the path to getting wealthy! LOL

    Better still

    I'll undercut everybody!

I'm giving them away for free!

Just add $11 per 100 Shipping and handling.

Zardoz- I knew if I followed these posts closely enough, I'd discover the secret to your wealth. Plastic.com-sounds like a winner to me.

I did not find any CardSavers on this site at all.

they do have a lot of good products and
they do have a similar product
(although appears to be sized to CSII specs)
    Their "Deluxe Card Holder"

but they do not carry the Cardsaver brand products.

But Paul - it's even cheaper when you buy 20,000 at a time!
Why do I get the feeling, that some cards are worth money, while others are not?

    True

I get them 10K at a time. By the time I pay shipping. My costs are still high. I assure you, I'm sure as he!! not in the supply biz.

Oh. I thought their deluxe card holder was a card saver 1. They do say send these to PSA for grading.
    My mistake.

Cardboard Gold did have a sweet deal over July 4th holiday (like July 1-15) that if you bought $500 worth of supplies, they shipped them for free. That's when I stocked up, so paid just $70/case of 2000...

My Card Saver I's arrived from Zardoz today. I was unaware that I got three free grades from ZAG with every purchase. That was worth the card savers alone!

    Thanks Paul!

I just get a kick out of this hobby on an every day basis! Can't wait for the National - I'm going to see if I can fill a whole display with nothing over $20! The CS1 talk gave me an idea - may just set up with some CS 1 packs for sale!

Hi all! This is my first post to this forum. Just wondering: does anyone know what PSA does with all of the used Card Saver I's? I hope they don't just toss them in a landfill. It would be nice to get them back and re-use them, even if I had to pay for return shipping.

Nearmint- I had read somewhere on these forums that PSA cuts them and throws them away. You can ask them though if you want to be sure.
