Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble with the registry tonite. I log in - pick a set - and get a blank Collectors Universe page. I can get into one set but the other four I just get this CU page. And of course the one set I can get into my coin isn't in the darn database!! **ugh**

The website for setting up new sets is very very poor. Options do not work as advertised. Import from CVS file always fails inspite of diligently following the instructions. Website overall deserves a "c-". Sad to see such lack of clarity in this day and age. PCGS needs to hire a better web designer.
So I'm not alone in having trouble setting up a new set. I add say 20 coins to my inventory and only a handful show up in my set. Maybe I have to change the coin number, but I cannot edit the coin number from variety numbers to date/mm numbers. This is turning into a major waste of time trying to enter data for a set.
WTF does "...does not match the composite" mean?
Are there any step-by-step instructions for these registries? I cannot edit coins in my inventory. Half my coins don't match the composite, whatever that is. Therefore, half my coins will not show up in my set! And I have no way of editing to try to figure this all out!
I'd like to show my coins but I see that's nearly impossible for me here.
Each Set is composed of a number of coins - the coins make up the Set
The composite is the list of those coins - each coin has a slot - and each slot will only accept the proper coin
It is almost impossible to assist You without an example of the issue - What Set? Which Slot? What Coin?
If You were a collector of classic cars - and had a number of Corvette's - You would not generally try to add a Mustang
Similarly - a coin that is not part of the Composite cannot be added to the Set

Thanks for explaining "composite" and "slots." I'm not adding a Mustang, I'm adding a Corvette convertible.
I provided the specific variety number for a date. For example, the coin in question is a 1843 WB-35 Seated Liberty half. The variety number for a WB-35 is 801727, the date/mm number is 6243. PCGS says It doesn't match the composite for the set. I would think that the Slot should properly accept 6243 and every one of the varieties that comprise 6243.
Perhaps all I need is to replace the variety number and enter the date/mm number, however, I cannot edit the information I've entered to find out if that's the problem. I'll try deleting the record and entering it again with the date/mm number.
Use the "Report A Cert That Should Match This Composite" option to request that Your Cert be added
If it is denied You can respond with questions as to why and find out where it should go
(I'd also recommend adding a picture of the slab - both front/back)
But be wary - You might discover a Mustang hiding under a Corvette convertible blanket

This is good advice, I've had to do this quite a few times, I think there are many errors in the composite from all the varieties, even labels. I've had coins show up in a registry set that should have, and many times I have a coin that should be addable and isn't. I report it, and a few days later I get an email is fixed and I can add it now. Sometimes they will even add it for you
