Something I have needed for a while and finally realized it could be done. The data is based on an extract I obtained nearly a year ago for a related purpose. It should be easy enough to update. It is a work in progress. Updated as of 10-31-2026
Combined grade and date NGC/PCGS population census histograms by denomination and KM-number

That’s FANTASTIC!!!! Do one for Peru??? Guatemala? Bolivia? This is wonderful.

Very cool.
If we were to make one for Peru, same time period? Spanish Colonial era 1732 - 1821 1/2R, 1R, 2R, 4R and 8R? Or something different? Also, do you have a lookup table for cross-referencing dates with KM-Numbers? That's where most of the work lies. I already had such a table for Mexico so matching it with the populations was less of an effort. DM me or post here.
I only need it for the pillar version, but yeah! If I put together the KM number table, you’d be willing to do it?

Sure
@SimonW, I gave it a shot. Could you check the data for accuracy?

Thanks
@AngryDragon that’s wonderful! Thank you! There is definitely some missing data, I think it’s because sometimes they list coins in the census with and without the KM number, and they’re distinct, so they list in different places in the PCGS census.
