I reported to FB marketplace, but highly unlikely they will do anything about. I will likely get a reply that it doesn't violate their listing policy. FB marketplace is a safe haven for scammers. I don't know how to report it to PCGS but I'm sure someone here does.

It appears that the listing disappeared within minutes after I reported it.

For those of us who are less experienced, what allowed you to determine it was a fake?

This sort of thing (fake slabbed 1909-S VDB) wouldn't be a problem for a buyer on eBay. >:)

Well in this particular case the coin was already sold by HA and an image of the coin in the slab was there. Since the fake slab looks nothing like the HA sold slab that is pretty straightforward. However, also in this case the seller of the fake slab has a grade associated with the counterfeit that is incorrect and can easily be determined by using the PCGS cert verification tool. That, along with the general wonkiness of everything about the fake slab, makes it easy to determine.

The seller likely blocked you on FB, so you cant see their listings.

Listing is still up. Also has some bad reviews...
