Trump dollar Newsweek article question
These are excerpts from an October 15, 2026 Newsweek article. Is the author confused or will there be more dollar coins available, albeit in a different product form, from the rolls and bags sold starting September 2nd?

Beach sounds confused....says banks may not offer them at face value. We all know banks do not sell circulated coins...they always offer money at face value.
Almost reads like an AI article not written by a human.....
Link to the article in question: https://www.newsweek.com/americans-told-use-new-trump-coins-liberal-businesses-12570857
The link for the word "states" in the first image points to https://www.usmint.gov/campaigns/donald-trump-coin which is about the $250 gold coin, which is listed for sale on the Mint site on Nov 5 as the rest of that paragraph says.
Whether AI or not (and it probably is), it wasn't proofread or edited.
Thanks for adding a link. I didn't know how to post it. It had me wondering if they were coming out with a different (other than the rolls and bags sold out) product offering or what? So just the gold coin on the 5th and search to find rolls of the regular dollar coins at a bank.
Correct but to be clear the circulated $1 Trump coins at the banks will NOT have a July 4th privy. They can only be found in the rolls and bags that were available directly from the US Mint
