    I agree !

However I have a few rolls i'm going to tuck away for my Granddaughters so they can ENJOY !!

This coin has not changed in 80 years.... It might be wise to hoard a few . I'm told they are going back after this mintage ?

It will take another Act to change the dime, although it might be possible to update FDR’s image without an Act of Congress.

Would like to see the dime's obverse portrait on a Liberty Series 1 ounce medal. . .

For that matter, what does the 2026 half dollar look like now? Have not seen one in circulation or at the bank. (yes, I have seen photos, just pointing out that none are appearing in circulation) Will they ever appear in circulation?

Now they are going to ruin half dollars with new designs yearly, just like they did quarters.

Paper money eventually returns to its intrinsic value. Zero. Voltaire. Ebay coinbowlllc

Half dollars simply don’t circulate in the US. Closing my 20th century type with the 2025. Decided no 21st century type for me. Too many issues, too many collector issues. Was fun with all the changes, but at some point one just feels that one is wasting money and being taken advantage of. Wish the FDR dime would “close out”soon. Last for-circulation 20th century type left with original or nearly original obverse. (BTW I collect first and last year of types.)

Think there’s any chance of petitioning congress for a change? It would be a simple standalone bill. Could be introduced by any of our representatives.

It just means the Kennedy half dollar set has an end date, like the Washington quarter set ends at 1998

Original Kennedy design ending is not the issue. Coming out with a new reverse every year is. People got burned out by the quarters, likely this will be the same result. Just my opinion.

You're not wrong, I'm not disagreeing, I'm just saying now there's a logical end point for my Kennedy half dollar set that satisfies my compulsion. I'm not going after the new designs

Just added the 2025 to my type set. Done and dusted.

PS. I include first and last year of 20th century type in that set. (Ex-gold). Still hoping to close out FDR, the last of the set. No 21st century for me.

That is exactly how MsMorrisine cleared it up. These specific coins haven't been in circulation here in the country for very long. For instance, almost all the new 25-cent coins are already heavily circulating over here, except for the Thomas Jefferson one, which is very special since some of them feature the July 4th privy mark. The real mystery on local Facebook groups is still around both the 10-cent and 50-cent pieces, where many people are sharing pictures and asking if they carry any premium or additional value. However, while the new 10-cent coin hasn't made it into my hands yet and remains a myth for me, the new 50-cent coin has already personally reached my change. That is exactly how the situation stands right now over here.

That is exactly my point! I completely understand that data, but over here in my country, the vast majority of the general public has no idea about these production figures. In fact, many people here still get highly confused by the Presidential dollars because they see those past historical dates on them and think they found an ancient, ultra-rare coin, haha. But that is just how the unique numismatic culture behaves in my beautiful country.

The 26 dime design is the real standout for me.
