Coin 1 - 1818/7 Large 8 O-101 PCGS XF45. Nice original envelope toning. Some reds and blues that are more prominent on the reverse. Sat in a cloth pouch inside a Kraft envelope since the mid 80s until I show graded it at the ANA.

Coin 2 - 1827 Curl Base 2, O-146, PCGS AU58, Ex- Don Parsley. Purchased several 3 or 4 years ago from a fixed price selection of Don Parsley’s collection. Nice luster, a bit of toning from an album or some similar storage around the periphery. Small staple scratch to the left of the eagle’s beak. Not distracting. A tough redbook variety in AU and up.
