I'm aware that the nature of CU as an open forum has made it an easy "dumping ground" for members of all sites, and I realize that that isn't fair to those who have worked hard to keep it clean. I am as guilty as anyone for bringing the cussing and insults here, and for that I apologize. It gets very easy to get carried away when there are no limits on free speech. It has been said that there cannot be true freedom without the wisdom to know one's limits, and I'm taking that policy to heart.

I want everyne to know that yes, I cosider TR and CE to be WONDERFUL trading sites, but I will no longer use that as an exscuse to make CU a lousy one. I know people like Quasar have worked hard to make CU a reputable place (it's where I got my start) and out of respect for that, I promise to tone down my posts a bit. Can't promise no controversy , but I can promise an at least civil level of discourse.

It's easy for all of us to get drawn into those 80+ post threads about nothing but how much we hate each other, but I am going to try to keep my nose out of them.

If anyone has any remarks for me, or just wants to call me a loser (in fairness, I ca take it as well as I've dished it) feel free to PM me.

I promised to tone down my posts, and I have. No more attacking everybody or getting defensive. I'm just saying akafocus has made a habit of trying to be the "good guy" on here, and his posts certainly don't bear that image out. I made one thread to point that out, I didn't cuss or call him names or say his site sucked. I think it as a reasonable post.

I would have to say that Ryan has toned it down considerably from his more acerbic posts of the past. Man, you were a MF in some of those posts and I must admit to getting a chuckle or 2 reading the barbs going back and forth. Much better this way though dude

I'll even stick up for Ryan - ... We may not have hit it off and we did argue a bit, but he's toned it wayyyyy
down. Kudos to him. The boards have been a lot more civil lately in general and that deserves a thanks to all. And in closing, I'd like everyone to know that.....
