This came up on a search on AU and full bands Mercury dimes:

"Grading Rules for Full Bands in AUStandard Rule: Most standard Mercury dime dates cannot get a certified Full Bands label if they exhibit any circulation wear (graded AU or lower). The Exceptions: Only the 1916-D and the 1942/1 overdates are grandfathered by major services to qualify for Full Bands designations at lower grades (down to AU-50 for PCGS).Exact Population: There is no single cumulative tally for all AU full-band coins across the entire series because exact figures shift constantly in individual PCGS Population Reports and NGC Census databases."

Meh. I don’t like the coin. Give the grade or give the designation but not both

The full holder shot makes it look like a no grade
