anyone use or know a program that can convert avi to gif?

    most programs that you scan with will... if you use them to adjust photos. if it is just 1 pic you want done... then i would be more than happy to do it for ya. if it is more than 1... then you are on your own...lol

    i have a hp scanner. i'll mess around w/ the program.

    somewhere in there, you should be able to adjust the pic.... then choose save as and select jpg or gif.

    acutally a "avi" is like a small moive that can be played via windows media player. well, i need a prog. that can change it to a gif so i can post it on my site.

    lol.. sorry... i read the original post wrong...lol. so you want to basically "cut" a part of the avi out and then save it correct?
