1976 Topps #585 Joe Torre
As a follower of the 76 Topps set a Joe Torre in full sized border and centered is probably top 3 of the hardest HOF'er cards to find in high grade. Here is a nice example that went for big! Yes I know old holder but still a pretty decent example that are far and few between..

It's the singer not the song - Peter Townshend (1972)
Not even a minute do I buy the whole buh buh buh I'm a man-child japery - Me (2025)
Lots of the 76 set are hard to find well-centered. I just love the set so much but it's a killer.
For those in the know is that Torre card tougher to get centered than the 1979 Ozzie smith or 1984 Donruss Joe Carter?? It seems that it is rarer. Thanks.
Yes it is probably the toughest card in the 76 set and as far as comparing it to the 79 Ozzie or 84 Carter or even the 76 Brett, I would put it in that category but those are rookies and a 2nd card so much more subs and attention then a random 2nd to last card of a HOF managers card as a player.

I realize it's a tough card. I've been looking for a raw example to add to my set for years. No luck. The example above is nice, but current grading standards wouldn't place it in a 8.5 holder. That grade was a gift. Maybe 7. The surface flaws and ink smudges are too visible.
