What is up with Paul Skenes?

shelled again yesterday. ERA is up to 3.90 for the year. 11 baserunners in 4 innings.

Is he injured? have the hitters figured him out? is he not as good as everyone thought?

I was wondering the same thing. They said his ERA over his last 14 starts is over 5.

i agree with the above that Paul has a smoking hot girlfriend, but just about ALL pro athletes have smoking hot girlfriends. probably the very minute Livey gets her first hints of crows feet around her eyes, Skenes will upgrade to a newer, younger model

She’s one of those girls whose favorite thing to do is take pictures of herself. But I do feel bad for her because she has idiot boy geeks waiting around at airports for her holding up signs that point out what a creep they are.

Strikeouts are still there. He might be dealing with some soreness or something but decent chance hes taking it easy waiting to be traded or free agency. This is an organization with one of the worst owners that also tried to manipulate his service time and a lot would need to happen for them to make the playoffs this year.

Their defense isnt exactly good and his last 5 games 3 of the 5 hes been good just too many pitches in two of them. 2 of the 5 would register as a quality start.

Makes sense. He’s probably just trying to get traded. If that’s true the Mets are buying.
