I happily maintain my own pool - it's almost a second hobby (and about as expensive as having a second hobby given the pool is 20x40). Recently, I added a limited liquid-chlorine routine to my pool maintenance strategy, but somehow did not notice this until weeks later! See what you think - it was kind of nifty to me:
