Question about an item being on backorder from the mint.

My 2026 Uncirculated Set is on backorder. Does this mean they just haven't made the set yet and will produce it soon, or will I get someone's returned mint set?

    Could be either. Predominantly the former. They don't backorder expecting returns.

    It means pretty much exactly what it means at any retail outlet.

    Thanks! I hope your right. For the huge price increase this year, I want to make sure the coins look good.

    They will look the same as any other year. 66s, occasional 67, occasional spotting or toning.
