Just got back from the WWE House Show in Little Rock (Smackdown! brand)

I attended the WWE house show in Little Rock AR at the Alltel Arena.

We got to the arena about 4:00 pm and watched all the wrestelers arrive. Don't remember the order of them all but we saw Rico, Tajiri, and Funaki arrive in the same vehicle, Rico was the only one to say anything to the people outisde. Saw Lance Storm and Edge arrive together, Edge had a wendys salad. John Cena and Shannon Morre arrived together, Mark Henry, Ron Simmons, and Bull Buchanan arrived together with music as loud as it would go, Mark Henry was being a real jerk but it was funny. Nidia arrived alone and it took her 5 minutes to get all her stuff together she had alot packed, A fan yelled he wanted her and she was hot she just looked at him and laughed she seemed nice, The Hurricane pulled up beside me thinking it was the entrance and he asked where it was so i told him he was very nice. Kurt Angle drove up in a very nice vehicle some guy jumped out in front of his car and took videos of him then security got him away. The last people i saw get in was Chuck and Chavo Guerrero in a Blazer.

On to the show.......

Started a little later than sheduled but nothing bad. The arena had about 5-6,000 people (Alltel hold 18,000+) the floor was pretty much sold out the lower level had about 1 section sold out and the rest were very scattered with some sections empty, the Upperdeck had maybe 50-80 people spread around so there was not that big of a crowd but that does not stop the WWE from putting on a great show!

The lights went off and out came chimmel to the smackdown theme and went through the rules etc etc then we did the national anthem. After that, Oh Testify!

D'von and Batista VS Mark Henry and The Hurricane

D'von gets on the mic and calls us all siners etc.

Winners: Henry and Hurricane

Billy, Chuck, and Rico VS Faarooq, Mike Awsome, and Buchanan

This match had some funny spots with billy, chuck, mike awsome, and the referee having to do with gay humping to hard to explain but they need to put it on TV it was FUNNY!

Winners: Faarooq, Mike Awsome, and Buchanan

Rey Mysterio and Shannon Moore VS Tajiri and Funaki

nice cruiser match

Winners: Mystiero and Moore

Jamie Noble w/Nidia Vs Billy Kidman Vs Chavo Guerrero

Kind of a slow match but with nidia in the mix not bad

Winner and still champ Jamie Noble

Christian and Lance Storm VS Hardcore Holly and Jerry The King Lawler

Christian gets on the mic and cuts down Little Rock, Lawler cut a promo on America - Canada,

Intermission- Gave away a JVC tower of power to a fan sitting in Section 120 row 4 seat 16

Albert Vs John Cena

not much to say about this one half the people were still gone from the intermission

Jericho Vs Edge

Jerichos music hits and crowd pops pretty loud, then Edge's music hits to an even louder pop. Jericho gets on the mic and cuts down Little Rock and Edge. Jericho hit Edge with the chair while referre was down can;t get pin gets up gives another chair shot but edge moves chair bounces off rope hits Jericho in the head and Edge gives the spear

Torrie Wilson VS Dawn Marie (Bra and Panties)

WOW! Torrie is so so so hot. Funny spot with the ref getting rolled over and he grabs on and keeps rolling with them then torrie and dawn marie both pulled his pants down it was funny. It ended up Torrie lost her shirt (Thank God!) and Dawn Marie lost both items leaving bra and panties

Chimmel thanks us for coming out saying they will return to Little Rock in the near future (October, No Mercy PPV)

Main Event

Hollywood Hulk Hogan Vs Kurt Angle

Hogan gets a very large pop and does the ear thing like he normally does, and that crowd may have not been huge but it got LOUD! Nice match alot of outside the ring action Jericho comes in to help Angle but then Edge comes out to help Hogan so Hogan Wins. After the match jericho and angle go to the back while Hogan and Edge did their double pose for the crowd while Hogan's music played, It was great!

This is the best house show i have been to and i have been to about 5 i don't understand why more people don't go. Anyways atleast they will be back for a PPV in October i can't wait!

I am not gonna rank all the pops but i will say the biggest pop of the night was when Hogan and Edge did the posing

People avoid house shows, because it's not televised. That is one of the biggest reasons people go to the events. House shows can be better seeing the wrestlers can play to the crowd more and if they make a mistake or say something it's not caught on tape. Also if people can't get close seats for a house show, they won't go. Personally I won't go to a wrestling event anymore unless I can get good seats. If you don't have good seats it's better just watching it at home or not attending the house show. Just my opinion, but I don't see how people can get psyched up sitting up in the rafters. ECW put on the best live shows hands down. Sandman's crowd entrance was one of the best parts and RVD always went around slaping "fives" with the fans. That is what wrestling has lost with just the one big televised promotion. When I attended No Way Out 2002 the only 2 people that I saw shake hands with the crowd were Jerry Lawler and Howard Finkle. Also I miss the steel guard rails, the black barriers are a piece Craaap!
