1976 $2 error value

This note exhibits a misaligned serial number, right numbers touch Wash DC. Host label does not mention it. Hoping to get a valuation from our banknote brain trust. Peace Roy

The numbers are applied on a different press after the banknotes have been printed.
Just slightly out of register but not really enough to add much of a premium.
If the numbers were lower and ran into the copy it probably would be worth more.

I like it too, but not enough to pay a premium considering it is non PPQ (probably pressed) from a pretty massive run (20,480,000). For me, it would be worth the price of the holder (& nothing more). I know that may sound harsh but that's where my mindset is now.

I just picked up an UNC conventional Boston star $2.00 with a 1,280,000 run & that will be it for me. After I saw the numbers issued, I just can't justify buying one in a TPG holder TBH.
