1994 P Dime mint damage?

I believe I have a dime with mint damage. The extra metal on top of the date and the edge reeds are still visible even after damage. What does everyone think? I’ll try to get better photos later.

    It's called "post mint damage".

Don't bother with new photos, you have a damaged coin not a mint error.

Damaged coin. Looks a little disgusting. Spend it and then wash your hands. 😷

I’m aware post mint damage occurs. I am surprised PMD would add extra metal to a coin, on the date, as well as maintain some reeds into a helix up to 90 degrees from original position. I’m sorry I questioned this and wasted your time.

Every coin you post has post mint damage, so it doesn't seem like you are aware of it.

that's not extra metal on the date. look at the adjacent gouges. that metal was scraped across the date

It didn't add extra metal. It moved metal.
