I sent two coins in for VAM attribution

Only one never got the service paid for. Can someone identify the VAM ? I thought the missing “W” was interesting (grease filled die) but couldn’t find anything similar at VAM world or in the VAM book.

Not all VAMs are recognized for grading by PCGS. Are both of these recognized VAMs?

You paid all that money to have a circ 21-D graded, why? What VAM did you think it is and did you think that would cover the costs?

The 21-D is a striking error. A few listed early in the VAM catalogue, but the practice was discontinued since they are not actual die states. As others have said, PCGS will only attribute a very limited subset of VAMs, basically those in collector lists, like the Top 100. Attribute it first yourself and then see if PCGS has it in coinfacts.

The crack near the reverse R is not listed in the VamWorld 21-D crack guide and I couldn't find any reference to the weak w in the motto. If you must know the VAM, send it to varslab.com.

Thanks guys. Found a similar VAM from 1921(P) with a missing “W” . That is all.

Man, I give you VAM guys a lot of credit. I don't know how you do it? If I was into VAM's my head would EXPLODE!!
