Is there any way to identify the individual that would have been issued this medal? The number on the attendance medal is #228.

See if Louisville has a historical society. They may have a file on the subject.

I have never heard of this event.
It appears to be a Schwaab Stamp and Seal co. product. I’d expect their mark to be on the reverse. I could be wrong though.
This would be a fun piece to research. There’s got to be some good info out there about it!
I’m not sure if that listing is a good indicator of value. It is an unsold 5 year old listing.
