The coin of the immaculate conception
in Q & A Forum
Having trouble figuring out how this perfect circle got on my coin . It’s 14.9 mm round and 11.55 mm
from the edge of the circle to the edge of the coin. This is in the dead center of the coin . Some suggestions are the coin cabinet ID tag. This doesn’t make sense because it seems to “melt” on the back .

Here's a good explanation.

So the person set the coin down perfectly ?? Down to the .01 mm ? Yeah, not buying that .
The coin cabinet ID idea doesn’t work. First this circle is 14.9 mm . That’s really small to write anything but a couple of numbers or a couple of letters. The coin cabinet ID tag works for the back of the coin but not the front.

Forget about that coin and start filling a Whitman folder. It has many empty circles and you put a coin into each circle. It's perfect for you.
