I'm just gonna post here from now on when the Crew lines up behind this guy. 15K and a Maddux vs. Philly tonight. He ain't real, I tell ya. We may witness one of the most dominant pitching seasons in history if he keeps this up. Kudos, Brewers. You got a gem.

i saw that last night. dominant for sure. I fear that that much stress on an elbow will not pass the test of time.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
I met a wise old rat in the sewers once who said you can’t live in fear.
If you don’t know his story it’s worth looking up. What his Dad has been dealing with for much of his life and what Jacob went through early in his career coming out of highschool and into JC. He’s a good kid.
It is true that he could be the next Nolan ryan, roger clemens or randy johnson. but, for every one of those guys there is a Kerry Wood, stephen strasburg or mark prior.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Not speculating about any of that. Too often people compare a phenomenal individual to past experiences and ultimate injury-induced retirement. It's just a pleasure right now to see the development of a kid who was all over the place not long ago and now seems to have found a groove that may be unmatchable this year. His dominance so far reminds me of Jake Arrieta of 2015-2016 when he seemed almost untouchable for a long stretch. A team hops on the back of a horse and rides it as far as it goes.
I root, root, root for the Cubs, so seeing the prime opponent in the division succeeding so well is a bummer to me, but I appreciate a good game of baseball and a good baseball player. I'll keep hoping for this guy to stay healthy, if only so my guys can get a shot at him when it matters most and maybe, just maybe, blow some minds. Far fetched, I know. But, never say never.
nicest thing any Cubs fan has ever said about me
Yeah, that kid is pretty good, too.
Thats actually a really interesting trio. Prior had a freak injury with a line drive breaking his elbow. Wood got abused by the Cubs and Stras was physiological injuries. The TOS surgery is basically career is over
Fire AJ Preller
He has a 0.17 ERA in his last 8 starts. He has 8 straight starts of 8+ K and 0/1 runs allowed - the longest streak in the 60ft pitching distance era.
