Could this be a 1950 S over D Washington 25c ?

This is the best image I could muster right now. Is this an S over D or just PMD?

No, it is not the 1950-S/D variety. If you're so inclined, a good homework assignment would be to explain why it can't be the S/D.

Hint: there is only one known die pair for the 1950-S/D

I was confident it was just PMD, but it doesn’t hurt to ask. Thanks

Doesn’t hurt to check but unfortunately it is PMD.

Mmm... Your posting history is public. Posts like this one make it difficult for people to take you seriously in the future. So it does hurt to ask when you're already confident of the answer.

I am admittedly not an expert on identifying uncommon varieties, and for some reason I thought it would make sense to ask those more knowledgeable. The level of cynicism on these boards at times is disappointing.
