This new Lincoln is Red & Brown

There was a local one day show I nearly forgot about yesterday until a buddy texted me to ask if I was going...
I didn't have a bunch of money to spend but that's never really a problem for me, I can always find stuff I like without spending big bucks.
This is one of a few colorful Lincolns I picked up, It's bright red on the obverse and definitley brown on the reverse... Jekyll & Hyde.
The dealer who showed it to me initially handed it over with the reverse up... without turning it over, I assumed it was a double mint set toner from the 50's.

That is a really neat wheat cent! I wonder what caused the coin to look like that.

Nice. Old album toned reverse.

Something I never noticed about the 1929 dates. Is the 2 a tiny bit high, or is the second 9 a tiny bit low? (BTW, I checked, they are all like this, so its on the hub.) I would guess that the Engraver put the second 9 a tiny bit low.

Weird. I never noticed either. The 2 looks high to me.

That might be an optical illusion. When the Engraver changed the date from 1928 to 1929 there was no need to re-do the 2.
