1916 DDO Buffalo Nickel….ouch

Has anyone else seen this on eBay. Old graffiti on the king of Buffalo nickels. Both sides are affected. What are your thoughts on it.

Man.................that's a real shame. But the coin is what it is. Someone might want it for that reason alone.

My thought is in 1939 when that was done that Buffalo was worth 5c. Coins were made for commerce, not collectors.
