My dad as a 19 year old in 1945. Dad left the Navy in 1946 as an ETM2 to go back to Purdue U. Dad died last July at the age of 99. I miss the old guy.

My Dad passed in 2006. There are things I never asked him about, personal things. My Folks lost their first baby…..my Mom was shattered. You know, I Never asked my Dad how he felt then., Questions never asked….

"Questions never asked" is a great line - very appropriate for those of us that have lost parents (and grandparents)
