And the moral of the story?...

Collectors that forget what they have, have a lot of coins! 🤣 😉 👍

The market would not call those "nicely" toned.

First of all who said they were for sale?
Do you ever have anything nice to say?
I didnt say they were all nicely toned but if you move them around in the light some colors pop.
Why don't you ever post coins for discussion?
I don't understand why you spend time on this forum constantly saying negative things.
Don't you have anything better to do.
    You act like a troll.

Just an observation. Less for you than newbies who might read it. I see a lot of newbies who treat all toning as though it is a positive.

Do you really want an answer to those questions?

    1. I didn't say anything about selling them. There is toning that is positive, as viewed by the general market and toning that is viewed as negative. Although, as already stated, some people like near terminal brown or black toning. So, it was more a general TPGS statement than a universal statement.
    2. i say a lot of nice things. But people only jump on the negative things.
    3. I've answered the question about why I don't post many coins before. The biggest reason is that I like to keep them private. The only time I post anything is when it is, to me, very unusual. And that is a pretty high bar. I also purchase more non-US than US coins and if I kept posting Tibetan coins, there would be a lot of "wrong forum" posts.
    4. As I said before, i say plenty of positive or neutral things. No one generally cares. In fact, many object to every positive thing i say about eBay, the US Mint, and USPS. 😆
    5. I have many better things to do. But this one i can do on the phone while walking the dogs or going from building to building.

I'm genuinely sorry if you took offense to what was meant to be a generic statement. I did not intend to insult you. But, since you did intend to insult me, at worst we are even.

Interesting coin board. Wonder who produced it?

    Many happy BST transactions
