Help identifying a error nickel

Hello! I have a 1968-s Nickle and was wondering if I can get some insight. is this a s over d error? or is it simply a grease error. i attached a few pictures with different lighting/angles to help. Thank you!!

Agreed. There is nothing there. Did you upload the right pictures? Do those pictures accurately show what you can see in hand?

If you can't see anything noteworthy in the pictures you uploaded, we won't be able to see anything either.

  • @AUandAG Thank you!

  • Yes Jonathan, I did upload the right pictures. does it bother you that I asked a simple question online? because you seem a little flustered...

P.S. - if grease was an issue the anomolies would be incuse, not rising above the surface. I agree with AUandAG that it could be die chips or maybe general die deterioration.
