I bought an OG collection of Type B Rev. Washingtons
I bought this collection from an older gentleman (80's or 90's). It's fun to see other collectors annotations. I especially like how this guy looked for the same things I look for – LDS, rarer die pairings, heavy polish marks...
Some nice toning on these, and I would say most are undergraded by today's standards.
I am thinking about a bulk submission, but I am confused by PCGS pricing. Are variety designations extra in a bulk submission? For example, if I were to submit 100 Type B Rev. would I be charged for variety designation on each one? The bulk pricing sheet seems to suggest no extra charge if the entire submission is the same variety...

It's cool when a collection is so niche and a collector and seller are able to get together.
Yes! And somewhat validating for me. I previously showed my slabbed collection to two shops and they both had the basically same reaction... "What in the world?" "Why?" "What possessed you to collect so many of this particular variety?" Hah
There is always speculation about rarity within this series. The 1956 is obviously the least common. From this little snapshot, how did the dates break down? It seems 57,58, 59 and 60 are most common in my experience.

1962 and 1964 are also very uncommon and extremely tough to find in MS66 or higher.

The collection I purchased also included a full set holdered in old NGC "Fatty" style -- the entire set was MS66 except the 1964. In my experience, 1964 is significantly tougher than 1956...
