Mint changes my subscription quantity for half dollar rolls

Anyone else notice a change in subscription quantities from the mint on already locked in subscriptions? There had been a limit of 10 roll sets via subscription for the P&D half dollars, which I locked in a few months ago. Now as of today, they have lowered my subscription to 2 roll sets. In the past the mint has always shipped your valid subscription quantity at the time you made it. Interesting and suspect practices now.

They knocked mine down from 3 to 2 last week sometime. Product limit of 60,000 and a current ATS number at 59,950. I'm sure you'll be able to get whatever you need after the 24 hour HHL is lifted on this one.
Mint changing to policy for sales of in demand products to 1 or 2 HHL to allow the general collector a fair chance to get them. The low level flippers are only good for inflating prices. It's time to stomp them out. Their only value is being a thorn in the side of collectors.
Yes, I posted about this April 24 on the Enduring Liberty 2026 SemiQ 2 roll set thread advising people to check their subs and resub if necessary while they were avaialable because mine had been cut from 10 to zero. I was able to sign up for two, but had been counting on the option of up to ten.
What I am waiting for is to see if this same thing happens with the uncirculated, proof, and silver proof sets. Fair? Yes, if it is across the board, but my half dollar rolls were dropped to zero, I was just lucky subscriptions were open, probably because of all the cancellations, but if I hadn't noticed I'd be at zero.
(edited to add second paragraph)
Flippers in the coin market buy items—rare coins, bullion, or modern numismatic releases—with the intention of quickly reselling them for a profit, typically within days or months. They increase market liquidity, facilitate faster distribution of new releases, and identify undervalued assets, though they can also drive up short-term prices during high demand. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Key Roles of Flippers in the Coin Market
• Liquidity and Velocity: By constantly buying and selling, flippers provide liquidity, making it easier for collectors and investors to enter or exit positions quickly.
• New Issue Distribution: For highly anticipated mint releases (e.g., U.S. Mint limited editions), flippers buy up inventory and distribute it to the secondary market, often creating a market price based on demand.
• Market Efficiency: They identify mispriced coins (undervalued items) and act quickly to bring them to a fair market price, contributing to price discovery.
• Arbitrage and Regional Differences: Flippers often move coins from low-demand areas (like local auctions or smaller shops) to high-demand areas (major auctions or online platforms), narrowing price gaps. [2, 3, 5, 6]
Risks and Impact
• Price Volatility: While they add liquidity, aggressive flipping can cause high price volatility, especially for new releases or newly discovered rarities.
• Increased Costs: In some cases, flippers act similarly to scalpers, purchasing limited-edition items and reselling them at a significant markup, increasing the cost for collectors.
• Market Timing Dependence: Success for a flipper relies on buying low and selling high within a short window, often requiring a deep understanding of market trends to avoid losses. [1, 3, 6, 7, 8]
Ultimately, flippers—whether dealing in physical gold sovereigns or new coin releases—rely on, and contribute to, the demand-driven frenzy that characterizes high-market volatility. [1, 8]

Yup, I was also changed from 10 subs to 2. I think that there will be plenty of additional to pick up in the days after release.
