Where Probs is concerned almost nothing is legit especially in 4 fig range. Lairs is as Liars do
P.S. even there was a real buyer they will likley get a box full of air or some common junk slab then they have to fight it out with the auction venue. The fact that eBay knows, allows, and supports his criminal acts kind of makes me hope Gamestop does succeed in a hostile take over.
It's the singer not the song - Peter Townshend (1972) Not even a minute do I buy the whole buh buh buh I'm a man-child japery - Me (2025)

The eBay Authenticity Guarantee eliminates the shenanigans of the seller sending a box of air or common junk slab -- the seller has to send it to PSA for Authentication first. It's one of the best changes to the eBay platform as far as sports cards are concerned (imho).
The good news is that Ryan Cohen is delusional. Cohen is a Bezos acolyte. Realistically he's going to need to raise about $40B to make this happen. Tiny stake and big words reads like activist BS to me. Cohen wants the collectibles only and would otherwise slice ebay into nothing while servicing some $20-$30B in debt on annual revenue around $2B. The savvy investor would just light $10B on fire and consider the rest they didn't spend profit.

Given the price point of those cards, it is not $25. Closer to $100
MBA upcharges based on card value, PSA style.

If Gameslop gets their greasy paws on eBay we’re all doomed.
