Inquiring About Pre War Baseball

Hey everyone! I love collecting pre war baseball hall of famers--goudey, t206, playball, etc. I have a hard time finding ones I can afford though because I am a high schooler, so money doesn't exactly grow on trees for me haha. Does anyone have any pre war hall of famers in really rough shape you would be willing to part with? I will pay a fair price. Please dm me with anything you might have. Thanks for any help you all can give me!

You might also consider joining net54baseball.com. That forum is primarily a pre-war forum, though it does have active sections for post-war cards too. Their B/S/T section regularly has pre-war cards for reasonable prices (sub-$100 each, often $50 or so). If you are looking to acquire some budget friendly, lower condition pre-war cards, that's a great place to start your search. There are a number of old collectors there who have stashes of these cards and might be willing to work with you. Good luck!

I second the joining of Net54. I have been on that board for 20 years and they are as hard core pre-war sports cards as they come. Do yourself a favor, become a member of Net54, and sit back and listen to the knowledge that is there. I mean...they even have Walter Johnson's grandson on that board and so many other incredible advanced collectors.

Join, listen and ask logical and relevant questions. Just don't be stupid on that board and you will learn allot.

I am on a budget and I am not afraid to use it!!
