2001 Lincoln Cent Minor Reverse Doubled Die

Another roll find and since I had the camera up and running figured I'd get this one photographed as well. One of the many doubled die reverse coins from 2001 with the doubling showing as an extra column on the right side next to Lincoln's arm.
Haven't done the research to see which one it is or if it hasn't been identified yet.

While I don't know who has the authority to designate these as DDRs, I have always questioned whether they are just due to die or hub edges being sheared off due to being defective.

That being said, I imagine it creates some level of job security for the attributers.
