$420 an ounce for fractional silver when spot ounces are at $72 and full oz are now out the door at minimum $173. Smaller means more $ . Packaging costs are costly. Are you stacking precious metals or addicted to premium priced Gov't packaging ?
Put the tiny goodie an early release slab and buy a half hour cable infomercial to enlighten me at 2 am with endless shaddy claim sales pitches.
Your heirs will never know how much was lost to the plastic fantastic pump & dumpers.
This kind of already exists in the form of silver proof dimes, quarters and halves (just not to convenient fractions). I agree much of the cost would be in packaging, unless they just shipped in generic airtites or little plastic bags like private/other bullion.

Interesting. I’d like to have a 2026 silver dime, but wouldn’t buy an entire silver proof set to get one.
No problem, I have a sub for 10 sets that will have the 1¢ to 50¢ for grading, and many others will do the same, so dimes will be available individually.
They raise the prices across the board and somehow fractional is the solution? With the cent now eliminated and prices well beyond young collector budgets the hobby is doomed.

Makes sense. I’m in favor.
