Has cac gold stickered MS/PR69 coins?

Has cac put the coveted gold sticker on any MS/PR69 coins? I would think that NGC and PCGS always had a reason to not give the modern coins a "70" with the finalizer giving the coins a "69" instead.

No stickers of either variety on 70s, ever. edited: Ah, you changed your post... I don't know about 69s.

Considering PCGS won't cross a 70 because they want to see the edge and can't do so without breaking the coin from the holder, I would doubt CAC would give a gold sticker to a 69, which is akin to saying it's a 70.
Not just a 70, but a high end 70...essentially a 71!

I'd rather have an SR71 than a PR71
Can you afford the JP-4?
Maybe I misunderstand, but I don't think that's true. I've crossed several modern NGC PF70's to PCGS PF70.
Haven't seen one either (just unbeknownst to me)

Excellent logic. I wonder what the most common hindrances are for coins not making perfect 70 grades when there are no luster grazes or other obvious defects? Are there many dealers who are good at picking out perfect 70 coins?
Were those cross at any grade or only the same grade?

That's a good distinction. They were all cross at same grade. In most cases having an NGC 70 end up in a PCGS 69 holder is disastrous economically and I can't imagine any scenario where a collector would be inclined to do this, although I'm sure it happens from time to time.
If it was recent I suppose the policy could have changed, or maybe the prong holders have allayed some fears (though they still block the view of parts of the edge). It was certainly a policy from PCGS that made sense.
