Submission Question...

I have a Gold Double Eagle and a 1921 Mercury Dime I want to submit for grading. What service should I use? I was guessing regular service at $30.00 per coin and I could submit them on the same invoice. Any thoughts or opinions on this?

Thanks so much for your help! image

The gold needs to go at $30 regular service. If the Merc is a $300+ coin, it also need to go at regular service. If two coins is all you have, it wouldn't be worth splitting them even if the merc could go economy. The shipping would negate your savings.

Now if you can go through a dealer or friend already submitting... you can slash the shipping costs.

An important decision is with or without fingerprints??

If with, then go with PCGS, if without, then either ANACS or NGC... image

You can have the invoices shipped back to you together to save on shipping if you want the Merc to go in under the Ecomony Service.

I think I'll have to go with regular service because of the value of the Merc. image

Thanks for all the input, guys. As for the fingerprints, well, we'll just have to wait and see. image
