PCGS XF45. Sold for around $7900 on March 13. Looks like the top bidder is waiting for it...."Good afternoon calling about the 1879 coin please let me know when you’re going to ship The Coin. Thanks"

I know there must be a story here, but I don't know if you could tell it in a more fragmented and cryptic way if trying.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
Look at the feedback for the seller
7900.xx for this coin is a steal. and probably too good to be true.
Most of the other sales from this seller are Legos and other non-coin items
It's all about what the people want...
I'll try to fill in the blanks a little. It sold for over $11K a few days before: https://www.ebay.com/itm/168221000762 So either this coin worth multiples of these numbers is not part of a real and honest auction or someone thinks that they can get near market value for a rare coin on a sketchy account with low value collectibles part of their sale history and when it doesn't bid up they run it again.
Wait for the feedback?
Isn't this coin worth over $50k in that grade?
Throw a coin enough times, and suppose one day it lands on its edge.
Seller has a feedback rating of 21, only 4 in the last year, and their avatar is for a construction company matching https://web.archive.org/web/20180430111756/http://www.cdnroofing.com/
Run away!
No doubt an attempted scam. They probably thought they could defraud someone but ebay doesn't release money on high ticket items until delivered, etc..
The only way to get market value or near that with expensive items like this is through a major company like Rarcoa.
I don’t like the deep hit on the cheek. Very small slab photo…..
What say ye - the good, the bad, and the ugly?
CDN: 66 k bid 70 k CPG. But with the big hits on face, cheek,
