Central States Coin Show- Worth it on Saturday?

I’ve never been to this show. I’m only free on Saturday. Would most of the dealers be cleared out by then?

Typically by noon. That is the pattern inasmuch as many dealers have flights scheduled or, if driving, want to be home with family or resting on Sunday

It depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for rare coins, then you would probably be out of luck. If you are looking for common coins, modern coins or Morgan and Peace Dollars then you would probably have some luck if you arrived at the opening time. Do not arrive late.

Central States is a fantastic show, but going on Saturday is an exercise in futility. I went once on Saturday and it was a ghost town.

I have had good luck at this show buying bullion (many years ago). I liked to go Saturday morning.

You'll still see some action Saturday morning, but the big boys will already be gone or in the process of packing. Typically, it's local and smaller dealers that are still there on Saturday.
