How do you feel about this coin. I don't have an anciet Samarian coin from this early period and this seems to have decent details

    I guess somebody can colour this coin by reading history because it has little aesthetic attractiveness on its own.

    This particular type is rarely artistically high-quality, and this example is not the best of it's type. Nevertheless it is identifiable as a Samaritan type, though not one of the ones listed in the Hendin guide to Biblical coins.

    I suspect the most expensive Samaritan coins are the ones that actually say "Samaria", in Samaritan script. At US$695 for this one, I personally would pass, and either pay a bit more for a more legible example, or pay a bit less for one like this.
