Doily Holder - 1906D $10 Liberty Gold PCGS 64 CAC closing tonight

Just listed on Great Collections. It's a spectacular coin in-hand, the luster just jumps out at you. It is not yet listed in the New Doily Census in the thread posted by Drunner in the U. S. Coin forum here. When it is listed, it will be the highest graded $10 Gold of any type in the census. The Doily slab is absolutely original and undamaged in any way. It has spent the many years I have owned it in a bank safe deposit box.

    2 piece holder. Are all doily’s in 2 piece holders ?

    Yup. It's basically a Rattler holder encased in a surrounding collar.

    MS 71,
    Your gold coin is extremely attractive and worthy of the MS64. It might even crack out and earn the 65 grade, but I wouldn't have the personal fortitude to do so myself.

    Not too many collectors would crack a "Doily", thats a major selling/collectablity point, at least to me.
