Here is an interesting bit, a coin not expensive and supposedly available but likely still quite scarce:
1979 FM Bahamas 25 Cents in uncirculated (U) prooflike. This coin is not in Krause or in Numismaster. Where did it come from?
From the Franklin Mint series "Coins of the World".
This was evidently struck only for this series and not in any other series. Below have pictured Bahamas 25 cents coins:
First a Prooflike uncirculated 1978 coin:

Next a PROOF 1979 FM Bahams 25 cents coin:

Finally, the 1979 FM Prooflike Bahamas 25 cents coin:

To summarize, this discovery coin is available though a bit difficult to find and was only mention on the Cointalk site.

Was that part of a set? Any idea on the possible mintage?

Yes, there was a book of them and then most of these were broken down. This set of stamp plus coins of different nations was not as large as the other "Birds of the World" - which I have. I really don't know the numbers of the set this came from. Krause in 1980 and 1981 published catalogs of ALL Franklin Mint products including coins, but then also dolls, car reproductions, Michael Jackson gloves, etc.
I think I will try to get the later one (none were made after 1981) and it might show the mintages of these coins. HOWEVER, Krause Coins Of the World from 2020 does not even show this 1979 Bahamas 25c with the FM mintmark - the Royal Mint did also strike unc. 25c coins in this year.
My guess is the number is probably 200-300 of these were made, and especially for the full set an NOT for any specific Bahamas coin offerings.
