Logan McKechnie Has Passed Away

alefzeroalefzero Posts: 1,143 ✭✭✭✭✭

Many here will remember Logan, the owner of VAMs And More, from the consistent show presence, especially in California. I certainly have many stories, but just wanted to relate the news for others who knew him and might not know yet. He had the long booth at the back wall of the Long Beach bourse for many years. He was a great friend, an evangelical ambassador for VAMs, and will certainly be missed.

Certainly a big loss to the VAM community and the greater coin community.

    Many happy BST transactions

    Ditto to everything, John.

As career journalists (Logan was part of the team at the Arizona Republic newspaper that won a Pulitzer prize), we bonded over more than just Morgan VAMs. I shall forever appreciate his sense of humor, his candor, and his willingness to always help. We spoke often over the years; whenever my phone would ring on a Friday mid-afternoon, I knew it was probably Logan calling from his car to pass the time as he drove to one of the poker tournaments he loved to be a part of.

May you have Pocket Aces forever my friend!

    When in doubt, don't.

Had a couple nice convos with Logan over the years at LB. I remember that outside of coins, he also loved playing poker. May he RIP.
