    I always wanted a gold cob. Finally made that happen last year, at the 2025 FUN show.

    This one doesn’t have a shipwreck pedigree like I was hoping for, but it was just within my reach. I was starting to think I wouldn’t be able to afford one, after browsing the bourse floor and not seeing any within my desired price range.

    Though it doesn’t have a (known) shipwreck pedigree (or a date on the flan), this one does have the dark/light contrasting look I like on circulated gold (and silver).
