Don’t stomp on me here as a newbie, but, if I came across a BU CC Morgan 82-84 date, what’s a reasonable price to pay?

Check sold listings on ebay.
Those are the most common dates for CC Morgans. Don't rush to purchase if you're not sure that you love the coin. There are plenty more.

Well, I decided I didn’t want to spend $300 + so I actually picked up an XF 1890 CC just to have in my corner. I’m sure it’s cleaned, but I’m ok with it being just a nice example I don’t have to worry about handling.
