My guess is a bunch of scruffy dogs. Hope I'm wrong, though.. :)

At face, yes. Premium if you have bag quantities.

I'm going to cash in a bunch at my bank.

Circ IKEs have little to no premium.

When I worked in a shop my boss paid $1.10 for Ike’s but he had a buyer.

I saw a buy on “Coin Dealers Helping Coin Dealers” on Facebook of $1.25 per the other day, though perhaps that dealer was trying to fill an order.

Took a look at Vol 3, of the 6th Ed of the Cherrypicker's Guide and then went through the IKE dollars again. Doing so resulted in me finding 2 circulated 1972 D Peg Leg IKE dollars. I have set them aside, simply because they are worth $2.00 total and they are a conversation piece.

I can show them to other persons and tell them these are the Very Rare, 1972 D Peg Leg IKE dollars; simply to impress them with my hobby knowledge :)

How many of you are impressed? B)

Our neighborhood sponsors a yard sale every spring and fall and, believe it or not, Ike dollars have always been a good seller for us, much to my wife’s surprise.

    Fun strike.

I'd take the castoffs and tip the server with 'em, next time you eat out. Leave a good sized stack on the table. I did that with the leftover Kennedy halves (several rolls) from my last coin roll search (which was a bust- no silver at all).

Nice pickup. I remember giving a few of those to my ex (was dating at the time) when she kept asking to borrow money from me.
